GSE plans UK comeback - official.

Crash.net can exclusively reveal that GSE Racing are planning to make a comeback to British Superbike racing next season.

"It is our plan to come back to British Superbikes next season, with two bikes and two riders," said GSE team Manager Colin Wright.

Rumours have been rife over the past two months that GSE, a BSB and WSBK winning team, would make a return to their domestic championship as the main Ducati team next year
as reported by Crash.net on September 30th.

As the 2005 season fast approaches, GSE are now frantically trying to tie up the loose ends, and over the next few days there will be a number of very important meetings to finalise the team, including the two riders.

GSE has been involved in motorcycle racing for many years and is responsible for bringing on such talents as World Superbike Champions Troy Bayliss, Neil Hodgson and James Toseland.

And it is a very real possibility that young Brit Leon Haslam, who rode for Renegade Ducati in World Superbikes this season, will be next in line for the GSE star treatment - with sources close to Crash.net having very recently indicated that Haslam has signed for the team.

That would still leave one seat spare, but from the very start of the rumours of GSE's return, it was indicated to Crash.net that one of the 999s would be ridden by a factory Ducati rider - in the form of Lorenzo Lanzi.

Even though Ducati's World Superbike team has stated that Lanzi's 2005 future will be in either World Superbike or Supersport, Crash.net sources, codenamed Secret Squirrel, still point the finger firmly at the GSE ride.

Ducati's aantreden

't is ooit anders geweest
