Is die HM Plant machine ook een CBR1000?
En is dat hetzelfde team als in het BSB of is het alleen maar dezelfde sponsor?

Hetzelfde geld voor Stobart eigelijk

Dunlop to make North West return

Robert Dunlop has won 14 North West 200 races
Robert Dunlop will return to race at this year's North West 200, where he has won a record 14 times.
The Ballymoney ace missed all of last season in order to recover from a serious leg operation, but is ready to compete in the 125cc class again.

"It is a course I love and I miss the buzz. Racing is in my blood and I would love to record another win," he said.

Dunlop will warm up for the May event by taking in the Cookstown 100, and may also race at the Easter short circuits. The feature race at this year's North West will be worth a record £8,000 to the winner, and will be the penultimate event of the meeting.

A total of £22,000 will be on offer for that race, with prize money being paid up to 12th place each lap.

niet Rutter (zoals verwacht), maar 'golden oldie' Steve Plater wint de Macau GP

Citaat:
Plater denies Rutter at Macau.

Michael Rutter (Stobart Honda) at Macau 2006.
Steve Plater has denied Michael Rutter a record-breaking seventh Macau Motorcycle Grand Prix victory during a tense 15 lap battle around the Guia street circuit.

Plater, riding an AIM Racing Yamaha, passed pre-race favourite Rutter on lap four and stayed ahead of his rival right to the chequered flag.

Pole sitter Rutter tried hard to regain the advantage, with he and Plater breaking Rutter's long-standing lap record four times as they fought for supremacy. Rutter - riding a Stobart Honda - was badly baulked by a slower rider just two laps from home, but continued to chase the race leader and was less than one second behind at the chequered flag.

One man who was not disappointed that Rutter was beaten was former British star Ron Haslam who shares with him the record of six wins in the event. Haslam was a guest of the event as part of the 40th anniversary celebrations.

A third British racer, Rutter's team-mate Ian Hutchinson, looked as though he would challenge for victory in the early stages, but after losing second spot to Plater he began to drop back and finally finished third, 27 seconds down on the race winner.

Scot Stuart Easton, a third member of the Stobart Motorsport Honda squad, was fourth home, five seconds behind Hutchinson but only 0.1secs ahead of another British racer, Guy Martin on the second AIM Racing Yamaha.

Former winner and the man who has finished runner-up to Rutter for the past four years, John McGuinness, had a poor race by his standards and finished sixth on his Stobart Motorsport Honda.

Steve Allan beat fellow Scot Callum Ramsay, both on MSS Discovery Racing Kawasakis in the Supersport 600 Class.

It was the second year in succession that Allan had taken victory in the race, but he announced afterwards that he was now looking for a Superbike ride for next year's event.

Hong Kong racer Cheung Wai On on his privately-owned Yamaha was third in the smaller bike class, 20 seconds behind Ramsay.
