Silverstone, start tweede seizoenshelft

Omdat niemand het kennelijk doet, open ik deze maar weer:

Het strijdtoneel van dit weekend, 5,89 km lang en van oorsprong een vliegveld, hier wat weetjes die ik toevallig tegenkwam:

* Abbey and Luffield - Luffield Abbey, the remains of which were discovered 200 meters from Stowe Corner.
* Becketts and Chapel Curve - the ruins of the Chapel of Thomas Becket lie close to the circuit (the BRDC changed the spelling for the corner name though!).
* Stowe Corner - Stowe School is less than two miles south of the circuit
* Vale: heeft niets met Valentino Rossi te maken

Collin de snelste van dag 1 ondanks crash in de slotfase vd middagtraining.

Wow wat een race weer, spanning was om te snijden. Beetje zelfde gevoel als Assen na afloop, maar we moeten gewoon blij zijn met een podium.

Laten we wel wezen, we zijn geen Spanjaarden die dat wekelijks gewend zijn, dus dat CV95 elke wedstrijd meestrijdt voor de eerste plekken is gewoon fantastisch!

Wat een race weer en Veijer gewoon weer voor de 5e keer op het podium!
Kwam eigenlijk een ronde te vroeg op kop, maar goed. Op naar Oostenrijk!

Een heel goed opgebouwde race van Collin. overwinning had er eventueel ook in gezeten gok ik. Maar dit was ook gewoon super.
